Hurtigpistol
Hurtigpistol is the NSF rapid fire programme on 25 m: five shots per series, and the time drops from 10 to 8 to 6 seconds. Most shooters lose their points in the last stage, but it is hard to see how many without the numbers.
Shotlog scores every series as you shoot and shows what each exposure time costs you.
The programme
- One five-shot sighting series before the 10 second stage.
- Four series at 10 seconds, four at 8 seconds and four at 6 seconds, five shots each.
- 60 shots, maximum 600 points.
- Weapon groups: Fin, Grov, Militær, Revolver, Spesialpistol and Spesialrevolver.
How Shotlog scores it
- The programme set up in order, with the sighting series first.
- Built-in timers for the 10, 8 and 6 second series, with a beep on every step.
- Statistics per exposure time: average series and ring counts at 10, 8 and 6 seconds, and the trend between them.
- Move a session between weapon groups, for example from Fin to Grov, without re-entering any shots.
Questions
Does Shotlog have a timer for Hurtigpistol?
Yes. Shotlog has preset timers for the 10, 8 and 6 second series. Each gives you the preparation time, then a beep for every step of the series.
Is this the same as ISSF Rapid Fire Pistol?
No. Hurtigpistol is the NSF programme at 10, 8 and 6 seconds. ISSF 25m Rapid Fire Pistol is shot at 8, 6 and 4 seconds and has its own page.
